I developed a prototype app, using the lean UX development methods. The process includes rapid prototyping, information architecture, persona, action cycle, usability testing and design iteration. Exercise Application “MyFitMate” that I designed for this class is aiming at helping people live an active and healthy life.
Based on the broad research, I provided a unique feature of “workout with friends” which would encourage and motivate people to keep on exercising. For improving the ease-of -use during the design process, user testing plays a central role in developing a better application.
In this study, I learned that designing a prototype should reflect users’ behavior and their needs. Through the observations, I could find what the users do, where they succeed, and where they have difficulties with the user interface.
This exhibition design was focused on the Viking’s culture and their daily lives. It aims to inform interesting factors of the Viking society which has been hidden because of the widely spread the image of “Warrior.”
This logo was designed for a popcorn product. The universe was the theme for this logo which was developed with brainstorming and various initial sketches. Combinations of illustration and typography was the final design and all the age group can be targeted.
I designed a symbol set for the Korea traditional masks for dancing and playing.Their facial characters were emphasized with colors and complied a grid system.
Dramas in which actors wearing masks play and dance are called Talchum ( 탈춤 ) in Korean. These mask-dance dramas originate in Korea from morality plays by Buddhist monks and for exorcism. Today, they are played throughout different regions in the country for entertaining and have nearly lost their religious meaning. The stories in Talchum are about an apostate Buddhist monk; a foolish aristocrat ridiculed by his servant; and the life of the poor and the lower class. These dramas are so satiric and sarcastic that they make audiences laugh. The performers act with rhythmically jump, leap and sing songs with an accompanying small percussion group.

Credit Card with Human Sensory
A large number of companies are having an attention and competing with other companies by having different marketing strategy such as customer experience for utilizing all the sensory. Creative and unique designed cards would be more appeal to consumers among numerous credit card. In this project, I want to think about how all the sensory are condensed to a small rectangle credit cards, also find sensory that can be applied during interaction processing on ATM which will be effectively used for not only ordinary people but also people with vision disability.
The main subject is poaching. After making a story containing messages, I created images related to the story. Through the multiple steps of the critiques and discussions, unessential scenes were discarded and the final scenes of the story were selected. Even though the characters are not totally simplified pictograms, they are unified by using simple organic lines. The background colors of orange and dark yellow are used to represent the image of wildness of African plains.
